Below is a closer look at the two chapters Cyndee to which contributed.

Chapter 7: Importer Recordkeeping Obligations: What Do I Need to Keep?
In a world where invoices are sent to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) via various methods, the modern importer may be surprised to learn how important it remains to maintain original (often paper) records of all translations. This chapter addressees the reasoning behind recordkeeping requirements.

Chapter 14: Trusted Trader Programs
Since establishing the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program in 2001, U.S. Customs and Border Security (CBP) has sought to expand the ways in which CBP can work with industry to promote trade security and facilitation.  The CBP’s attempts are reviewed and discussed in this chapter.
